Patti was born and raised in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, PA as the youngest of four children. Her father was an Electrical Engineer and her mother was an artist for the Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Gettysburg College in 1980 and went on to raise a family and work several jobs in corporate America.
She fell in love with Stained Glass in 1997 and began making pieces and teaching stained glass courses for several years with Wentz Stained Glass in Gettysburg, PA.
In 2001, Patti began working with semi precious stones and started to develop her style in jewelry making. Several years ago, she discovered the art of fused glass and began fusing glass pieces to incorporate into her jewelry.
In 2008, Patti finally left the corporate world entirely to start her own business, Quiet Reflections, to make stained glass panels, precious gem and fused glass jewelry, and she has developed her own style of wire wrapping which is constantly evolving to showcase her natural talent as an artist.
In addition to her artistic endeavors, Patti is a Reiki Master and a Spiritual Director and offers classes and treatments in Reiki and has a practice in Spiritual Direction.
